Dr. Tengol K. Kplemani –Dr. Tengol K. Kplemani is a visionary entrepreneur, cultural diplomat, Pan-African strategist, and international advocate for traditional leadership, cultural tourism, and the creative economy. He is widely recognized for building innovative platforms that unite Africa’s Kingdoms, Chiefdoms, Empires, traditional institutions, creatives, tourism stakeholders, businesses, and the global African diaspora through culture, heritage, economic diplomacy, and strategic partnerships
Rooted in the enduring legacy of Africa’s ancestral civilizations, Dr. Kplemani is committed to fostering continental unity founded on shared history, culture, tradition, and mutual prosperity. His work bridges the worlds of traditional governance, cultural diplomacy, tourism, entertainment, investment, and creative industries, positioning Africa’s cultural assets as powerful drivers of sustainable development and global influence.
Continental Leadership in Cultural Diplomacy
As part of his lifelong vision for a more culturally integrated Africa, Dr. Kplemani founded the Sister Kingdom Network (SKN)—a pioneering Pan-African traditional leadership integrationframework that promotes structured cooperation among African Kingdoms, Chiefdoms, Empires, traditional states, and diaspora cultural communities. The initiative strengthens cultural diplomacy, heritage preservation, tourism development, knowledge exchange, and economic collaboration through mutual respect and traditional institutions.
Recognizing that Africa’s future lies in both preserving its heritage and embracing innovation, he also Co-Founded The Taste Of Afrika Ltd (TTOA), where he serves as the Grand Visionary Architect and the CEO. Through TTOA, he has developed transformative initiatives that promote cultural tourism, creative industry development, traditional leadership engagement, youth empowerment, and cross-border economic cooperation. Among these initiatives is the Cultural Oneness Festival, an international platform that brings together African Kingdoms, Chiefdoms, artists, creatives, cultural practitioners, tourism stakeholders, businesses, and development partners to celebrate African heritage while creating opportunities for investment, trade, tourism, and creative enterprise.
Driven by his vision of redefining identity beyond colonial borders and artificial divisions, Dr. Kplemani also founded the Cultural Tribe Movement, an initiative that encourages Africans and people of African descent to embrace a unifying cultural identity rooted in shared ancestry, history, heritage, and traditional values rather than tribal, linguistic, or colonial national boundaries
Global Ambassador for Community Tourism and Peace
In recognition of his contributions to cultural diplomacy and sustainable tourism development, Dr. Kplemani was appointed Ambassador for Africa by the Countrystyle Community Tourism Network (CCTN) Villages As Businesses (VAB), one of the world’s leading community tourism organizations. His appointment was endorsed by the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism (IIPT), reflecting international confidence in his
leadership and commitment to advancing community-based tourism, cultural exchange, peace-building, and sustainable economic development across Africa.
In this ambassadorial capacity, he works to strengthen partnerships between Africa and the Caribbean, promote community tourism as a catalyst for inclusive development, facilitate cultural and tourism diplomacy, and create opportunities that connect African communities with global heritage, investment, and educational networks.
Creative Industry Leadership and Strategic Impact
Dr. Kplemani has consistently built bridges across Africa’s creative industries through visionary leadership and strategic collaboration.
Transforming Africa’s Digital Music Economy
In 2018, he introduced Mdundo.com, Kenya’s leading music streaming platform, into Ghana, serving as Country Manager for five years. During his tenure, he played a significant role in integrating numerous Ghanaian artists into Africa’s growing digital music economy, expanding opportunities for monetization and international exposure.
Facilitating International Collaborations
He has successfully brokered strategic relationships between African and international music stakeholders, including facilitating connections between acclaimed American guitarist Vasti Jackson and Ghanaian music icon Stonebwoy, as well as helping establish collaboration opportunities involving legendary producer Teddy Riley and Ghanaian recording artist KiDi.
Industry Development and Policy
In 2021, Dr. Kplemani partnered with the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) alongside industry stakeholders from Nigeria to launch the Ghana Music Industry Conference—a strategic platform dedicated to policy development, professional capacity building, regional collaboration, and strengthening Africa’s music ecosystem.
Media and Cultural Advocacy
Through the 54Five TV Show on PPP TV Network in Kenya, he has promoted African entertainment, cultural heritage, tourism, and the critical role of traditional leadership in shaping Africa’s creative economy and cultural renaissance.

Honours and Recognition
Dr. Kplemani’s contributions have received international recognition for their impact on cultural diplomacy, African unity, and creative industry advancement. In 2024, he was conferred with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in African Culture during the Cultural Oneness Festival in recognition of his outstanding contributions to African cultural preservation, continental unity, traditional leadership engagement, and creative industry
development.
In August 2025, he was presented with the Key to Harlem, New York, honouring his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to strengthening cultural unity among Africans and the global African diaspora. The distinction recognizes his efforts in building international platforms that celebrate heritage, foster cultural diplomacy, and deepen relationships between Africa and people of African descent worldwide.
